Programme Overview

The Bachelor in Early Childhood Education with Honours at Lincoln University College is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in child development, learning theories, and early childhood pedagogy. The program emphasises holistic approaches to teaching young children aged 0 to 8 years, fostering their cognitive, emotional, and social development. Subject Highlights

Entry Requirements

i. A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any TWO subjects; OR
ii. A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR
iii. A certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
iv. A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in ECE with at least a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
v. A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)** in ECE subject to the HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval. HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide relevant bridging courses; OR
vi. A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in the relevant fields with at least a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
vii. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements.

English Competency Requirement* (International Student)
Achieve a grade in the MUET or any English competency test equivalent to a Low B2 in the CEFR.
